I founded KÜRA ADVENTURES with a clear and firm conviction: true freedom on the rock is born from technique, rigorous safety standards, and a Joy of the movement.
My journey as a guide and instructor has taken me from the massive granite walls of Cochamó to the high-altitude summits of the Central Andes and Patagonia. Beyond the physical challenge of a Big Wall or an alpine ascent, my true passion lies in instruction and sharing safely in nature.
I am committed to providing the technical tools necessary for every climber to develop their own autonomy and confidence in vertical terrain. My goal is that everyone who climbs with me not only reaches a summit but returns with a new perspective on their own capabilities, an expanded vision of what is possible, and a unforgettable experience.
Franco Rojas
Franco is one of the members of Kura Adventures.
His love for high places and the Andes has led him to develop his career as a mountaineer and climber in the Peruvian Andes, the Central Andes in Chile, the Araucanía region, and Chilean Patagonia, making his life a constant evolution within mountain disciplines.
He has successfully led guided expeditions ranging from rock climbing on small and big walls to high-altitude mountaineering objectives in Chile and Peru.
As a guide, Franco looks forward to sharing his skills and passion for adventure with you.
He is particularly dedicated to providing you with the necessary tools to define and achieve your goals while safely maximizing your experience.
He is currently in the final stages of becoming a certified member of UIAGM/AGMP at the Cordillera Blanca mountain school, and is already an active member and certified guide of the ANGM (National Association of Mountain Guides of Chile).
